Selecting your Cushions for your Holiday Stay

When it comes to selecting cushions for your living space or bedrooms it can be so overwhelming. But adding Cushions into your styling finishes off the space, adds comfort, softness and allows you to inject some colour and pattern into the space as well.
 
I personally think cushions are a great way to change up a space without spending too much money.  If you are on a really tight budget and you can’t afford a major interiors renovation or purchase big ticket pieces at the moment then go and spend a few hundred dollars on new cushions for your sofa’s and beds and it will give them an instant lift.

Not Just a Cute (and Pink) Holiday Stay But a Stand Out Successful Brand

If you love pink you will LOVE The Coconut Crib on the beach of Burleigh.  A cool and unique holiday apartment with views to Surfers Paradise, just steps from The Burleigh Pavillion and the shopping and restaurant hub of Burleigh.
Cath Dillon, owner and host shares her journey to creating such a stand out holiday stay and why she decided to create something so unique.  It was a risk and it turns out it was worth it, with the property being booked solid with guests for birthdays, hens nights, baby showers as well as by celebrities.
The Coconut Crib at Burleigh is the 12th property Cath and her business partner have renovated. They wanted to do something very different to stand out and differentiate the apartment from all the others at Burleigh. Hence PINK PINK PINK.

Instagram should be fun and lighthearted.  It is a platform where you can connect with your followers and potential guests.  It is a platform where you can share about something that you love about your location.  Where you can show a beautiful place to relax in your home.  Where you can express yourself and your personality through the interiors in your home, through styling, cooking in reels or short videos or photos.

Bernadette Janson Shares Her Tips on Buying and Renovating a Property for Short Term Rental

Bernadette started the School Of Renovating in 2013 to have an impact on the world. She wanted to help creative women to channel their flair and love for homemaking into an income with renovating and Airbnb.

Using Artwork as your Inspiration for your Interiors

So, you have created your vision, you know the visual direction you want to create in your holiday stay.  You know your target market, you know the design features you have to work with.  So what next?  What is the next step that to get me started in my interior styling?
I like to start of the sourcing process of my interiors with artwork.  
Choosing an artwork for your space is a key part of creating the interiors vibe and feel of the entire space and sometimes even the entire home.  
Using the colours, vibe and style of the artwork allows you to use that to tell a story and bring those features into your styling and throughout your space.
