Creating your Vision for your Holiday Home - Part One

This week I chat about the importance of creating an inspiration or vision board for the interiors of your home or holiday home.  This will become your compass or roadmap to ensure you stay on track and don’t make impulsive decisions as well as create a cohesive and relaxing space at the end.

 

Here are the first 7 things to consider when you are about to start creating an interiors vision for your holiday home.  I will share the final steps in Episode 6 - Part Two

1. What have you got to work with?  What style of house is it? What special features do you have? What is staying and what needs to go.  What is your budget?

2. Where is the property located?  

3. Who is your target market?  

4. Is it high-end luxury accommodation or budget accommodation

5. What is the style or the vibe you would like to inject? 

6. How do you want your home to feel? 

7. What is the functionality of the space? 

 

Keep this handy when looking at the styling for each room and when shopping and stay on track and true to the end vision you have created.
